Favorite marathon
Why?
The Antarctica Marathon can't be beat because of the mind-blowing oddity of being that remote with like-minded people and running the slippery slope of a glacier. I have a daily reminder of the experience from the scar on my face I received from my first time down the glacier...face first. The supporters, few as they were, were inspiring. But obviously spectator-wise it WOULDN'T be Antarctica as a favorite. That would be the New York City Marathon.

Most memorable running experience
The Great Wall Marathon was my first ever marathon, so for that reason alone it's the most memorable. And the difficulty of doing it is what inspired me to continue running marathons...they couldn't all be THAT hard, I figured.

Other Highlights from running experiences
Completing the 7 continents and having that as an ever-present goal over the last 4 years has been a life-changing experience. It's something I'll never forget and will always have as a life highlight.
